Kagaku Keiki Kenkyusho Co., Ltd. in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, has been dedicated to measurement since its foundation in 1938 and now plans, designs and manufactures internal grinding machines, various special-purpose machine tools and various production units, in addition to measuring tools.
In order to maintain a high level of precision, the company places great importance on manual ‘Scraping’ techniques and offers products made with the utmost care and attention to detail.

Our Skills
Performing sliding adjustment by skilled scraping technique
Performing sliding adjustment is a skilled technique in which multiple scraped surfaces are rubbed against each other to produce flatness. This technology is used for sliding surfaces of machinery and equipment, and in other situations where precision is required. Our company performs the scraping using a scraper to ensure that the standard flatness, right angles, etc., are correctly secured. This precision cannot be achieved by machining.
